How to Create and Share a Shared Album

To create a Shared Album you will need to first create an album that is NOT your Main Album. From there, follow these steps:

1. Tap on the People icon from the private album, or tap on "Share this album" from album settings
2. Tap on "Start Sharing"
3. Set the name you want other Shared Album members to see (it can be anything)
4. Once your name is set, tap on the "Shared" icon at the top of the album to bring up the Shared Album invite menu
5. Tap "Invite Someone" to generate an invite link
6. Share your invite!

Invites will expire after it is claimed by one person, or after 48 hours. You will need to generate an invite for each person you want to invite to your Shared Album.

If you shared an invite by mistake, you can choose to delete all open invite links from the Album Sharing settings menu. This will immediately expire each active invite.

How to Join a Shared Album

For Android Users

1. Tap on the invite link on your Android device
2. It will redirect to the Google Play Store to download Keepsafe
3. Create your Keepsafe account
4. You will be prompted to join via Invite Code
5. The Shared Album will appear on the Keepsafe home screen once the invite code is accepted

If you do not encounter the Invite Code popup, open the invite link after Keepsafe is installed to see if that pops up the invite code submission popup.

You can also join a Shared Album manually via the "Join Shared Album" dropdown on the Keepsafe home screen. From here, input the 6 digit code.

For iOS Users

1. Tap on the invite link on your iOS device
2. It will redirect to the Apple App Store to download Keepsafe
3. Create your Keepsafe account
4. Open the invite link again
5. You will be prompted to join via Invite Code
