So you’ve downloaded the Keepsafe Photo Vault app and have a good collection of photos in the app. Nice work! Now, when you start to get all of those photos into your main photo album you’ll notice that things can start to get a little messy. Where is that favorite photo of the family dog that you need to share? Or what about that go to selfie for your online dating profile? If you find yourself getting a little overwhelmed with all those beautiful photos and videos, here are a few things that can help you stay organized.
Creating a Private Photo Album
The best place to start when getting your photo locker organized in Keepsafe is to create photo albums or folders inside your vault. While looking at your photo albums, you can tap the blue + icon on the bottom of your screen to create your own private photo albums. From here, you can name them whatever you would like to help you find those special photos or videos. Just make sure it is something you will remember, and is easy to find.
Here is how to create a private folder in Keepsafe:
- Tap the Blue + Icon on the bottom right of your screen.
- Tap New Private Photo Album.
- Give your album a name.
Now that you’ve created your private photo album, you can start to add specific photos inside of the album for easy access. It can also be super helpful to create a cover photo for the album to add a little extra flare to the layout, or help you remember what that specific album contains.
Locking Private Photo Albums
On top of helping you easily find your photos, creating folders will also help you create an individual photo locker for each album. For added security, you can create a separate pin code for each of these folders with a Premium Account. Now even if someone happens to figure out your Keepsafe password you have another layer of security to keep things extra safe. To make sure all of your bases are covered, Keepsafe will also remove the cover photo from this locked photo album as well as the number of items in the album. We realize that if you’re looking to add multiple levels of security to a private photo album that there must be a good reason. With this in mind we make sure private albums are not a dead giveaway for your most top secret information. Instead, it just appears as a blank folder with nothing in it, causing those intruders to look elsewhere for all the private stuff.
Here is how to lock your private photo albums in Keepsafe:
- Log into the Keepsafe Photo Vault and access your photo albums on the homescreen.
- Find the album or folder that you would like to lock.
- Tap the three blue dots in the bottom right corner of the album.
- Tap Album Lock. Notice how by default this is set to unlocked, meaning it does not require a special pin to access while inside Keepsafe.
- Next you will be taken to a preview screen. From here, select Lock This Album.
- Enter a specific password for this album.
- You’re all set!
After creating the new password for your album you’ll notice that it now requires the password before being opened. This password will be required each time that you try to access this private photo album, keeping it extra safe even if those wandering eyes find a way into your standard Keepsafe Photo Vault. If you are looking to unlock this photo album, you can simply enter the password to unlock it, and then follow the same steps listed above to access the album’s settings and turn it back to unlocked.
